    • The purpose of requesting this information is to ensure that the district is meeting its legal obligation to confirm that students who are educated at home are receiving instruction in all the subjects required by law that is equal "in thoroughness and efficiency, and in the progress made therein, [to] that in the public schools in the same city." MGL C. 76, section 1.  If insufficient information is provided to make this assessment, the district may request additional information, consistent with its policy, prior to approval.

    • D. EVIDENCE OF PROGRESS REPORT 
    • Please forward evidence of academic progress at the end of the home school plan.  Evidence of progress may include report cards, standardized test results, other assessments or data to support the attainment of educational standards.
