If you are inquiring about adopting a pet (kittens and puppies under 6 months of age) that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be responsible for ensuring the pet is returned to Woof Ave Rescue or a veterinarian provided at adoption to ensure altering takes place.
All pets adopted must be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age. There is a $100 deposit required at adoption. This deposit is returned once altering has been done.

We do not adopt pets for breeding purposes. We also do not adopt who currently breed their pets. We believe that by spaying and neutering, we are helping reduce the numbers or unwanted pets in rescue.

Woof Ave Rescue can not guarantee the health or behaviors of animals in our care. All animals are current on age appropriate vaccines at time of adoption. If any further vaccination or veterinary care is needed, you are responsible for ensuring the pet receives care.
We are not veterinarians and do not have one on staff. All of our rescues are vetted by a veterinary clinic. We operate on donations and have several pets in our care. If at any time a pet has a health concern that does not directly affect quality of life in our care, woof ave many decline further treatment. Any known health issues will be disclosed to you at adoption. With unknown vaccination history and living conditions rescues are from, health issues may arise after adoption. We do our best to have revert animal in good health at adoption but sometimes, issues may arise that we were not aware of while in our care. You agree to take your pet to a veterinarian if sick or ill at your expense.

If you can no longer care for this pet, you are required to return it to Woof Ave Rescue. Woof Ave Rescue and retrieve my pet from my care at any time if not being cared for appropriately. Failure to do this will result in legal action.

This adoption application does not guarantee you this pet. We consider all applicants and determine which will be best suited for this animal.
