Nate Clark tragically lost his life on December 7, 2021, in a multi-vehicle accident. Nathanael Paul Clark, the first-born child of Heather and Todd Clark and older brother to Halle (Harnett Central High School Class of 2013), enriched the lives of everyone he met during his 27 years. An exceptional student, mentor, friend, and member of the Harnett Central High School Class of 2012, Nate built community wherever he went. After college, he made Wilmington his home and gave back as a dedicated First Tee volunteer. Nate left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Believing strongly in the value of higher education, the Nate Clark Memorial Scholarship was established in his honor to support future generations in pursuing education and strengthening their families and communities.
Qualifications:
- 2026 graduate of HCS, NHCS, or First Tee senior participant
- Plans to enroll in a degree program in Fall 2026
- Minimum 3.2 unweighted GPA
- Accepted to an accredited college or university
- Demonstrates strong citizenship qualities
