Alpha Rho Chapter Alumni Association (APCAA) $10,000 Scholarship for Metro Atlanta (Atlanta Public Schools, Clayton, Cobb, Decatur, Dekalb, Douglas, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, or Marietta City Schools) Public High School Seniors Who Attend Morehouse College in August 2026

In recognition of the impact of Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. $10,000 scholarships award have been established by the Alpha Rho Chapter Alumni Association (APCAA). The scholarship will assist qualified Metro Atlanta (Atlanta Public Schools, Clayton, Cobb, Decatur, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, or Marietta City Schools) public high school seniors who have been accepted and are committed to attending Morehouse College. Please note that the application deadline is May 18, 2026 at 11:59pm. A member of the APCAA will reach out to finalists to conduct an in-person or Zoom interview in May before selecting an awardee.
Scholarship Requirements

1) Metro Atlanta (Atlanta Public Schools, Clayton, Cobb, Decatur, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, or Marietta City Schools) public high school senior 2) Proof of enrollment at Morehouse College in Fall 2026, 3) Maintained 3.5 GPA or higher, 4) Write one essay, 5) Upload one teacher recommendation letter (includes teacher contact information), 6) Complete the application by the deadline, 7) Upload transcript (includes grades from first semester of senior year), and 8) Serve the community for a minimum of 30 hours in high school
