    Applications AND payment are due no later than June 15, 2026. PLEASE NOTE: APPLICATIONS CAN NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL PAYMENT IS PAID.   • Camp Dates: MONDAY, JULY 13-SATURDAY, JULY 18

    Registrations are processed according to the DATE RECEIVED.  Space is always limited, so please complete your application as soon as possible.  When an age group is filled, a wating list is established.  Cabins are formed on the basis of grade level and the desire to encourage new friendships. We will do our best to accommodate cabin requests, but it cannot be guaranteed.

    I have read and understand the CAMPER RULES AND INFORMATION packet located on the Tar Hollow webpage.  I agree to participate fully in the program, obey the rules, and to remember that we desire to exemplify Christ in every way.  This includes our conduct, behavior and dress.  Therefore, we trust that each of you will conduct yourself and dress in such a manner "THAT WOULD NOT ALLOW SOMEONE TO STUMBLE." (Romans 14:21)

    Package Policy: All care packages will be opened in front of the Staff Leadership Team (Executive Committee and/or Hill Supervisors).

    TAR HOLLOW RESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF CAMPERS WE CAN ACCEPT DUE TO STATE PARK GUIDELINES OR THE NUMBER OF AVAILABLE STAFF.

  • FOR PARENT:

    I have read the CAMPER RULES AND INFORMATION packet located on the Tar Hollow webpage.  I understand the nature of the program.  I grant permission for my child to participate in all Tar Hollow activities.  Cabins are formed with 1-2 counselors and up to 9 youth.

    By attending camp, I am granting permission to Tar Hollow Christian Adventure Camp and Sidney First Methodist Church to use my child's (camper) image in photo and video format for marketing and programming purposes including but not limited to print, social media, and website.

  • Confidential Medical Form

  • No one will be permitted to attend Tar Hollow without this form on file before camp begins. Medical history information will be kept confidental by the camp medical, administrative, counselor, and kitchen staff.  It will only be shared if necessary to provide adequate care for the camper. Medical information will be properly destroyed at the conclusion of camp.

  • IF THE CAMPER HAS A FOOD ALLERGY OR SPECIFIC DIETARY NEED (i.e. Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten, Nut, Dairy, Egg, etc...), please read the following:

    Tar Hollow will provide a detailed list of meals for the week upon request. It is the PARENT's RESPONSIBILITY TO PROVIDE appropriate food substitutions for items that cannot be consumed by the camper. Label the items with CAMPER full name, which item it is replacing, and directions for preparation. Identified kitchen staff will prepare this for the camper at the correct time. All food is prepared in the same kitchen, but the staff will do everything possible to avoid cross-contamination.  The camper should go to the serving line to pick up the specific food at the identified meal.

  • PERMISSION TO TREAT

    I understand that the camp nurse or other qualified medical personnel will administer any necessary first-aid and/or other over-the-counter medicines for any minor injuries or illnesses. If a serious injury or illness should occur, emergency medical care may be administered by qualified Camp Personnel and that, if any further medical treatment is deemed necessary, it will be obtained at the nearest Healthcare Provider/Facility as soon as possible. I further understand that, in the event of a serious injury or illness, every possible effort will be made to contact my primary contact person at the earliest possible time.  However, if time does not permit or circumstances do not allow for this contact, I hereby give my permission to qualified camp personnel to provide emergency treatment and for the Healthcare Provider/Facility to provide emergency treatment or surgery as deemed necessary. This permission is in effect from the time s/he enters the Campground area and becomes subject to Camp jurisdiction until the time s/he leaves the Campground area and is no longer subject to the Camp jurisdiction.

    Tar Hollow has included the price of a t-shirt in the fees for all campers. These shirts will be given to the campers during camp.
  • The cost of Tar Hollow for IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS will be:

    $135 for 1st child         $110 for 2nd child         $85 for any additional children

  • Additional Clothing

    Tar Hollow has an online store for all additional clothing!! Check out tarhollowchurchcamp.org and select "Camp Store" for more information!!! PLEASE NOTE: THE ONLINE STORE IS FOR ADDITIONAL CLOTHING!!! Your FREE T-shirt will be "ordered" with your paid application. These additional clothing orders will be delivered to the campers at camp!
