You are entitled to full access to your personal data.
However, we need to perform an enhanced review of your record to remove any third-party information. If you require a full copy of your records with more detailed redaction, you should perform a Subject Access Request instead.
There may be content on your record that could put you at risk (e.g. if others had access to your phone in a domestic violence situation). If we suspect this, we will ask you to book an appointment and attend alone.
This access will be granted and completed within one calendar month and not unreasonably withheld.
The NHS App will display records from October 2022. If you require records from before then, you will need to complete a full Subject Access Request.
Please Note: there are some documents that are not rendered properly by the NHS App. We are happy to provide these to you.
