The weather has warmed up considerably, and to conduct thermal imaging effectively we need a temperature differential of 10°C. We have therefore paused thermal imaging for the year, and will resume again around the start of October.
We can still visit your home to provide energy advice and guidance on support and potential funding options for home energy upgrades, but without conducting thermal imaging. The advantages to having a visit during the warmer months are:
* Use the summer to make your home ready for the winter, upgrading loft insulation, heating systems etc whilst you don’t need the home to be warm
* Find out about the Warm Homes Local Grant funding, which should go live in Surrey during spring, and can provide up to £30,000 of home upgrades
* Get bespoke advice on dealing with the Energy Price Cap Rise, with electricity prices rising around 6% from April 1st
* Get help on how to deal with the switch-off of RTS electricity meters (eg if you have an old Economy 7 meter, it may be switched off in June)
