Accredited perfusionists, who are members of the Society and registered with the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain & Ireland, can apply for the Society's Advanced Certificate if they have a minimum of 5 years' post-basic accreditation experience, and i) a higher than MSc level qualification (eg. PhD/MPhil), which on application demonstrates relevance to perfusion and/or their work, or ii) are the primary author of two relevant peer-reviewed papers.
