Mentor Expectations
1. Be accessible (within agreed upon parameters).
2. Invest time in learning about the aspirations, attributes, interests and intentions of the mentee.
3. Serve as a resource to support and enhance the mentee in healthcare management and relative skill set.
4. Offer guidance to mentee for career and professional growth opportunities.
5. Support mentee in the co-development of mentor/mentee goals agreement.
6. Provide kind, compassionate constructive feedback on a regular basis to mentee.
7. Provide feedback to WA-ACHE on Mentorship Program strengths and continous improvement opportunities to promote a reliable, effective and sustainable resource to members.
8. Participate in the Mentee/Mentor Orientation and/or relative meetings.
9. Maintain mutual confidentiality of information shared during mentorship sessions.
