Refunds / Cancellations
● If for some reason, we have to cancel or change your event or we are unable to provide the event in the manner promoted for reasons outside of our reasonable control (including, but not limited to, any act of god, fire, natural disaster, disease, epidemic, pandemic, or because of any government order, shut-down or regulation (each a “Force Majeure Event”)), we will not be responsible to you for any cancellation, postponement or change of the event. We may also restrict participation in the event where we are required to do so as a result of public health or other similar requirements in connection with a Force Majeure Event. If a Force Majeure Event occurs or the effect of a Force Majeure Event continues, we will use reasonable efforts to provide an alternative event where possible, and we may amend or cancel your booking. We will not be liable for any losses you suffer as a result of any such cancellation, postponement, change of event (including any change in requirements for participation) or any restriction on participation. We will continue to meet our requirements under any applicable consumer law.
● Cancellation by individuals within six weeks of the voyage is non- refundable, unless that voyage can be re- allocated to another participant and are made at the discretion of the Trust and Scouts Aotearoa less a $250.00 admin fee.
Travel to and from the yacht
Travel to and from the yacht is the responsibility of the individual and is not included in the voyage fee.
Six weeks out from the voyage, we will ask for travel arrangements so we can connect young people if arriving at the airport etc at similar times so they can travel together to the ship which is located in downtown Auckland at the Viaduct Harbour.
