    GENERAL INFORMATION - YOU NEED TO READ THE FOLLOWING

    1.  Show is run under NZWRF and AQHANZ Rules and all Premier AA Show classes will be Federation single points approved and AQHANZ financial members and registered Quarter Horses will receive from AQHANZ double points from all the Premier AA Show Classes AND single points from Closed Show towards their end of year points. Please ask Show Committee if you have any questions.  We are running the minimum classes for Paint and Appaloosa Halter; these are not points approved.

    2.    Premier classes are open to ANY Breed of horse and Western Rider AND Closed Show classes open to only AQHANZ Members and Registered Horse.  Non QH riders/horses will be allocated a RED strip on horse numbers.

    3.    Protests – Any protest as per NZWRF  and AQHANZ rules must be lodged in writing accompanied by a $25 non refundable fee, to the show committee within 30 minutes of the event in question.

    4.     Amateur/Novice Amateur competitors must hold a current NZWRF Amateur Card for their Premier Show Classes and AQHANZ Amateur Card for Closed Show classes.  Please send in copy of your card or present your card to Show Secretary before you start your Show classes.

    5.    Ribbons 1st - 6th place.  Prize Money 1st - 3rd place.  Prize Money $25, $15, & $10 (if there are 6 or more in class) OR that class is sponsored.  Prize Money relates to Premier Show.  Sponsored product will be presented to QH classes.

    6.    All Entry Fees to be paid into AQHANZ SI Events, Account Number 03 0430 0049867 02, state your Name and SI Show in the reference.  Your Entry will not be accepted until payment has been made.

    7.    Refunds - Competitors must produce Vet or Doctors certificate within 7 days of the first day of the Show to obtain a refund.  75% of total entry will be refunded, less admin cost.

    8.       CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES – Wednesday 21st January 2026 - No late entries will be taken.

    9.    Safety and Welfare of the people and animals – you are expected to act, at all times, in a safe and considerate manner.  Please be aware of risks and hazards that exist on the showgrounds and act accordingly.

    10.    Only horses entered in the Show are allowed on the Show grounds.

    11.    Stallions/colts must be yarded or supervised at all times.

    12.    Horses and ponies must be individually penned behind hot tape or otherwise yarded.  Horses can be yarded at the discretion of the Show Committee.

    13.    IF YOU CAN LEAVE YOUR DOG AT HOME, PLEASE DO SO.  We have been given permission for dogs to be present but they must be tied to owners float/truck and walked on a leash in designated areas.

    14.    Please take home your rubbish.

    15.    Sat Night Dinner:  $20 per person.  Tick Box if you wish to attend.

    16.  There is LIMITED water supply - This means you must give your horses a good wash at home and only use the wash bay to give legs a hose down/tidy up.
