  • CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Each client is responsible for canceling their own sessions from their LegitFit account. Cancellation without penalty can occur up to one minute prior to the start of the session. If canceling within one minute of the session's start time, or not showing up to the session without notice, then the session will be forfeit. Please go to your LegitFit Home page as soon as you’re able to and select the session you need to cancel. This helps keep accurate records of sessions and opens up the spot for someone else. 


    Canceling with as much notice as possible is always appreciated and helps everyone by opening up timeslots for booking. If you’re canceling with less than 4 hours notice, a text to alert me is always appreciated as I don’t check my email or LegitFit between sessions: 781-718-4233. 

  • VIEWING, TRACKING, SCHEDULING & USING SESSIONS

  • VIEWING SESSIONS 

    Use the My Sessions section of your LegitFit Home page to view your recent, upcoming, and past sessions. This software is UK-based, and you may occasionally see the dates listed in dd/mm/yyyy format, so double check the calendar if you’re unsure. 

    TRACKING SESSIONS

    Easily see the number of sessions you’ve booked per pay period, your next billing date, payment method, and more by clicking on Products, Memberships, and then selecting your membership under My Memberships. Double-clicking on your membership will allow you to scroll left and right to see the # of sessions you’ve used per 4-week booking period. 


    SCHEDULING SESSIONS

    Most clients work with me to pick a recurring day/s and time/s each week, however, everyone can change these as needed based on what is available. You can schedule up to 1-month ahead of time, and you can cancel sessions during any time frame. Use your sessions however you’d like over the 4-week period to account for vacations, obligations, etc. For example, if your membership is 1 session/week but you go on vacation for a week and you’re sick the next week, you could book 2 sessions/week during the remaining weeks. 


    1:1 client spots are named accordingly and outlined in orange. If you are a 1:1 client, you can schedule yourself in any of those available spots. Semi-private sessions are only for women with a semi-private membership, and they’re named & outlined in pink. Semi-private clients can pick from any of those time slots.


    USING SESSIONS

    The clients who have the most success with getting all their sessions in use a proactive approach and look ahead to see when they know they won't be able to make it, when I might be off, and book alternative days/times within that same pay period, use the waitlist, and/or email me if they can’t find a time.

    Sessions purchased are meant to be used within their respective 4-week periods and do not roll over. If you have trouble finding enough timeslots, email me to see if I have some wiggle room in my calendar, and also if you have any extenuating circumstances that affect your ability to use your sessions within their 4-week timeframe.


    WAITLIST

    If there’s a better day/time for you to train that’s booked or you’re trying to do a makeup session, you can utilize the waitlist to receive an email alert if the client in that spot cancels. Double-click on the booked session, then click on the Notify Me button, then the Confirm button as shown below. 


    This option will not auto-secure your spot if someone cancels; once you receive the email, check the Timetable to see if it’s still available and then you can reserve it if it is.

    LAST MINUTE BOOKING

    Same-day booking is prohibited through LegitFit so that I know my schedule before going to bed and have everyone's programs ready. If you see an opening you'd like to take or switch to, please text me to see if I can accommodate. 

    ADDING SESSIONS TO YOUR DIGITAL CALENDAR

    Each session you book will trigger a confirmation email outlining the day and time of your session. Scroll to the bottom of this email and use the “Add to my Calendar” option to add your session to your digital calendar. 

  • MEMBERSHIP CHANGE & CANCELATION

  • CHANGE

    Membership types can be proactively changed for a future billing cycle. This can be helpful if there is an upcoming 4-week training period when you know you won’t be able to fit a majority of your sessions in. Two weeks or more notice via email is required prior to any changes. 


    CANCELLATION

    If you’re considering canceling for financial or scheduling issues, try emailing first to see if there are any alternative memberships or options. Sliding scale payments are possible if affording the full retail amount is a hardship. Canceling your membership will automatically delete all your booked future sessions and you will forfeit any dedicated timeslots and unused sessions. Two weeks or more notice via email is required.

    Please use hello@kaizenhealthandfitness.com for everything except the exceptions below. It helps me keep track of everything in one searchable location, which means you're more likely to get a thoughtful response within 48 business hours. 


    TEXT

    Please text for same-day issues such as when you're giving me a heads up that you're running late, canceling that same day, sharing funny memes, or when you want to share any wins and successes. I occasionally post anonymous client wins to my social media accounts to share what you're doing well in the form of screenshots with your name and identifying info removed.

  • ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

  • ARRIVAL

    I digitally unlock the exterior back door 2-3 minutes prior to your session. It will auto-lock after 4-minutes. If you arrive sooner than 2-3 minutes prior, feel free to walk around the neighborhood or wait in the garden area. If you're running late, please text me so I can have the door open for you.

    DEPARTURE

    Please hit the X button on the keypad to ensure the door is locked when you leave.

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER

  • Generally, if Marblehead schools are open, so will we. If conditions appear unsafe, sessions can either be rescheduled or be held over Zoom if we each have power. If you’re supposed to train on a day where there is a lot of snow expected, please feel free to proactively switch yourself ahead of time to a different day/time that’s available on my calendar. 


    If the spot next to my car in the driveway has been cleared out and is available, please feel free to park there if there is a parking ban. I have heated driveway and walkway mats to help keep the snow and ice from accumulating. 

  • GYM ETIQUETTE & WHAT TO BRING

  • To get the most out of your sessions and maximize your focus, please leave phones on the bench or shelf and on silent, vibrate or low volume mode. 


    Please have any open wounds covered.

     

    Please stay home if you have a fever, are vomiting, have tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days, non-exercise-induced body aches, chills, diarrhea, or intense coughing that gets progressively worse with activity. If you’re feeling unwell or have experienced a recent injury and are unsure if you should train or not, contact me beforehand and we can discuss. I can easily change your program to match your needs. 


    It’s suggested to wear grippy training socks and layers of clothing. No bare feet.


    Water is available here or you may bring your own. 


    There is a bathroom on-site. Shower and towel service are available for an additional fee. 


    If you are particular about the kind of music you like to train to, feel free to make your own playlist and connect via bluetooth to my speaker. 


    Please text me if you’re running late so I can unlock the door for you at the right time. 


    When leaving, please shut the exterior door and press the lock button on the keypad to lock the door before the next person arrives to give me time to set up.
