HOLD HARMLESS FORM
The undersigned Downtown Market (Dyersville) vendor herby states that in part consideration for being allowed to participate as a vendor in the Downtown Market (Dyersville). I/We shall hold harmless the Downtown Market (Dyersville) and any affiliated parties from any and all claims and liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of the sale and/or consumption and use of our produce, goods, or merchandise at said Downtown Market (Dyersville) for the 2024 calendar year.
INSURANCE
It is the vendor’s responsibility to insure the proper insurance is in place to protect them and their products. Commercial liability insurance provides your business with protection for services rendered or products sold. It also protects your business from claims arising from alleged bodily injury, personal, injury, or property damage. Do not assume your market business activity is covered under your home-owners or farm insurance policy. Talk with your insurance agent about coverage and cost regarding the type(s) of product(s) you are selling. Many markets require vendors to have commercial liability insurance coverage and to provide the market with a certificate the market with a certificate of insurance before a vendor can sell at their market. Check with the market to know what it requires regarding vendor insurance.
OTHER
It is the vendor’s responsibility to be informed on state/county/city regulations regarding sales tax, weights & Measures, and public health regulations. Vendors will also be responsible for making sure correct licensing is in place to sell their products.
