As a Volunteer, It is Your Responsibility
1. To accept an assignment without displaying dissatisfaction or annoyance.
2. To respect CIRCUL KC property and sponsoring organizations property.
3. To fulfill your commitment to events that you sign up for or notify your Team Leader when you can not make it to an event you signed up for.
4. To follow guidelines established by CIRCUL KC, State & Federal entities, and any sponsoring organizations.
5. To decline any tips or gifts that may be presented to you. If this occurs please contact your Team Leader.
6.To not pressure other volunteers to accept your standards or your views
7. To be obedient to CIRCUL KC Staff, Team Leaders and other CIRCUL KC Representatives. These means not having to be told multiple times to complete a task or follow directions.
8."To be polite by using " please" and "thank you."
9. To respect all volunteers and yourself
Volunteers who demonstrate uncontrollable behavior and/or become a disruption to the event will be handled as such:
1. Warning:Team Leader will pull Volunteer aside to discuss unacceptable behavior and reiterate acceptable behavior to volunteer.
2. Removal - If the volunteers behavior is unchanged, team leader will; A) contact a parent/guardian to remove child from volunteer event, or B) ask volunteer to remove themselves from event.
If a volunteer is asked to be removed from a volunteer event they will no longer be allowed to participate in volunteer opportunities with the CIRCUL KC. However volunteers may request to complete a Consideration form. Volunteer must complete and submit Consideration form to their team leader to be reconsidered for volunteer opportunities.
The CIRCUL KC understands that some individuals may have disabilities such as ADHD or ADD or other disabilities that may alter a person's behavior. However disobedience and disabilities are two different behaviors and disobedience will not be tolerated.
