88th Annual Paxtang Lions Club Halloween Parade
Tuesday Night, October 28, 2025

7:00 PM

Fire alarm at 6:30 denotes parade will form.

NO ALARM - NO PARADE

Registration will be online only.

Registration Deadline: October 25, 2025

To be eligible for prizes, contestants must be registered in advance (no registrations the night of the parade)

NO POLITICAL ENTRIES or POLITICAL ACTIVITY WHILE IN THE PARADE. You will be asked not to participate.

Parade Route

The parade will form at 30th & Derry Street at

6:30 PM (or before) and will begin moving at 7:00 PM.

The Parade Route will move East on Derry Street to Wilhelm Road, North on Wilhelm to Montour, West on Montour to Paxtang Ave, South on Paxtang Ave to Derry and ending at the Municipal Building where the parade will conclude with the awarding of prizes as the results become available. People living along the parade route are requested to turn on any exterior lighting.

If the parade has to be cancelled, judging will take place in the municipal building at 7:15 P.M.

Refreshments will be served to all parade participants.

Participant Entry Categories

SECTION 1

Grade 5 and Younger - Individual & Pairs

Prizes: 1st - $50.00; 2nd - $30.00; 3rd - $20.00

SECTION 2

Grade 6 and Older - Informal & Family Groups

Prizes: 1st - $75.00; 2nd - $50.00; 3rd - $25.00

SECTION 3

Formal Groups - Scouts, Church Groups, etc

1st - $150.00; 2nd - $100.00; 3rd - $50.00

SECTION 4

Cheering and Dance Groups ONLY

Prizes: 1st - $150.00; 2nd - $100.00; 3rd - $50.00

BEST PET COSTUME

Register separately - even if with a group

1st - $25.00; 2nd - $15.00; 3rd - $10.00

THE TOPS PRIZE

For the most outstanding entry (Sections 1 & 2 ONLY)

Prize: $100.00

(Ineligible for any other prize)
