Eligibility as a Full Member Society comprises the geographical requirement of having its legal seat located in Europe. Exceptions to this requirement can be approved by the Governing Council provided that an organisation has a strong focus of its activities in Europe. Each country may only be represented by one national neuroscience society.

    • Associate Member Societies pay an annual membership fee that is decided by the Executive Committee.
    • Associate Member Societies are not entitled to attend and participate in meetings of the Governing Council, and have no voting rights in the Governing Council, irrespective of the nature of the decision and including matters affecting their rights and obligations.
    • Members of Associate Member Societies are entitled to receive FENS membership benefits.

More details about Associate Member Societies can be found in the FENS Articles of Association and Bylaws.

  • General Society Information
