I understand that there are inherent risks and dangers in any and all activities including the one(s) in which I am involved at the Ambler Farm property located at 257 Hurlbutt Street, Wilton, Connecticut owned by the Town of Wilton. I further understand that there is a heightened risk and danger in my participating in activities that involve the use of farm equipment, including but not limited to diesel tractors and mowers, and that this is an activity at Ambler Farm in which I am likely to participate as a volunteer and/or apprentice.  Understanding the inherent risks involved, I agree to hold harmless and to  indemnify the Town of Wilton and the Friends of Ambler Farm, Inc., their members,  agents, officers and employees, and any person there within from any and all claims,  actions, demands, damages, costs and loss of services, expenses, and compensation on account of, or in any way growing out of, or arising from, my activity(ies) at  Ambler Farm, including but not limited to negligence claims for bodily injury or  property damage, against any and all of the aforementioned parties. 

The execution of this Release is done with my full knowledge and appreciation of the act and its ramifications and is free from coercion of any kind by the Town of Wilton, The Friends of Ambler Farm, Inc., their members, agents, officers and employees. I represent that I have carefully read and understand this Release and that I have entered into this Release knowingly and voluntarily. I further understand that I am waiving substantial rights by signing this release.

I acknowledge that since my participation in publications and websites produced by the Friends of Ambler Farm is voluntary, I will receive no financial compensation and my participation confers upon me no rights of ownership whatsoever. I release Friends of Ambler Farm, its contractors and its employees from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my participation.

I hereby attest that I have been informed of the following pertaining to COVID-19, also

People who are 65 years and older and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions or are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 are recommended to stay at home. A list of medical conditions associated with a

higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 can be found in CDC's guidance¹.

Individuals and families should consult their healthcare provider to determine whether they have medical conditions that place them at risk. Staff and children living in households with individuals who are 65 years and older OR have higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 are recommended to stay
