What do they look like? How do they dress? How do they find services and products? Where do they shop? What values do they look for in services or products? Do they find importance in quality, sustainability, value for money, or long term relationships with business? The more details, the better! You can give one or two examples depending on your business.

  • Example 1: Emily is 35 from Mildura. She is a mother of 2 children under 10. She is a busy working mother, working as an admin officer for a local electrical business. She lives in a modest 4 bedroom home she is paying off with her husband. She spends her down time with her family, attends a local art club and works towards an interstate holiday yearly. While she values sustainability, she looks for value for money more so. She is most likely to stick with one business for years if provided great service. She shops at Target or Sportgirl. She gets her recommendations from Instagram friends or Facebook groups. She likes to stay on top of trends but also likes to look outside the box for her needs.

Example 2: Patrick is 60 from Brisbane. He is a father one 1 and grandfather of 2. He is a working professional in a cooperate job in the city centre. He lives in an apartment he owns, with his dog. When not at work, he enjoys cycling, golf and visiting friends and family. He likes to take an overseas trip once or twice a year. He has an interest in investing and growing his portfolio for a healthy retirement. He mostly shops at high end department stores with professional and tailored service. He likes to shop around to get the best service. He likes to feel heard and seen. He is happy to pay for wonderful service and values quality over anything else.
