  • This booking form is for Australian schools and educational organisations. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is committed to producing an inclusive program for all students. Our objective is to increase awareness about our native animals and their environment.

Once we receive your booking form, we will send you confirmation of your booking as soon as possible. Please note that booking confirmations are processed in the order in which we receive them.

    • Additional adults/teachers paying independently on the day of admission will be required to pay the full gate admission price. 
    • Prices are for weekdays only, conditions apply for weekends and public holiday bookings. 
    • Please note, National Trust member passes are not valid for education bookings. Prices are valid till 31/12/2024. 
    • Group admission rates and conditions are only available to groups who pre-book and pay in bulk as a single transaction, with a minimum of 10 paying individuals. Bookings cannot be divided between different payments. 
    • Payment must be finalised prior to arrival for those customers without credit. Upon arrival you will be greeted by an Education Officer who will record the number of people in attendance. The booking will be altered and a second invoice will be issued if the number of participants differs from the booking quantity, including a refund for any differences.
    • Large groups will be staggered to prevent overcrowding at exhibits. Due to the large size of school groups, entry to play areas, the miniature train and shows may be restricted. 
  • BOOKING ALTERATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

    Booking Alteration Fee - If any alterations are made to the booking date, other than for unforeseen circumstances (e.g. extreme weather) or numbers, a $10 booking alteration fee will be charged.

    Cancellation Fee - Bookings cancelled prior to 48 hours of booking date will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Failure to attend will be charged in full.

  • Education Experience (CWS Expert Led Experience)

    Led by one of our experienced and qualified wildlife education officers, this interactive experience is linked to the Australian Curriculum and tailored to your students' year level. 

    Your students will have the opportunity to meet and learn about three of our amazing animals; while participating in interactive activities to facilitate learning. 

    Please note that all Nature Ed experiences must be pre-booked to ensure availability.

    $4.50 per student (Weekends: Saturday - $12.50 per head, Sunday - $15 per head, minimum 25 students).

  • The Yarning Circle (Indigenous Knowledges Experience)

    This 45-minute hands on Indigenous Australian Knowledges presentation has been designed specifically to entertain all age groups. 

    The audience will explore our collection of Indigenous Cultural items such as ochre, a variety of Boomerangs, Spears, Coolamon, clubs, the Rainmaker, musical instruments, shells, skins, feathers and nests. 

    You will meet and learn about two animals and can continue the advenutre by listening to Dreaming Stories that teach more about totem relationships, animal and earth guardianship, and how the use of this knowledge can enrich their own backyard. 

    $4.50 per student. (Weekends: Saturday rate $12.50 per head, Sunday rate $15 per head, minimum 25 students). 

    Available to all year groups. 

    Booking time frame: 
    Please note that our Indigenous Experience must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

  • A Glimpse Behind the Scenes

    Get a glimpse behind the scenes at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and the wonderful work our wildlife keepers and veterinary hospital do. Visiting the Koala nursery, food preperation area and back of house area, and the wildlife hospital deck and back of house, this behind the scenes program also includes an opportunity to get up close in an encounter with one of our favourite Australian animals. 

    We need to consider capacity in each of our Behind the Scenes areas. Please note that we have set time slots scheduled around popular daily show times. 
    45 minute session.

    $8.50 per student (Weekends: Saturday - $15, Sunday - $25, minimum 20 students).

  • Koala Photo Opportunity Available 

    Say hello to an Australian icon when you book a Koala Photo Opportunity. 

    Due to animal welfare concerns, it has been decided that the Education Discounted Koala Photo is a "Tree Shot", where the student will stand next to a koala in a tree prop.  They will be permitted to touch the back of the koala during the photo.

    Please note: Photos must be pre-booked to receive discounted rate. Full rate will be charged at the gate if not pre-booked.
