The shelter sleep over program is very important to our shelter dogs as it gives them time away from kennel life.
I understand that Dog Rescue Newcastle is the sole and rightful owner of the animal(s) in foster. All decisions regarding the animal shall be made by DRN.
I do not have any right or authority to give, transfer, or adopt out custody of foster animal to any other person,organization unless approved by a DRN designated representative.
I attest to have both experience and competence to handle and care for the foster animal(s).
I understand for the duration of the temporary custody, the animal becomes the responsibility of the foster parent and is subject to all the Rules, Ordinance and Regulations of the city council, Town, Township, Village, Region, and the laws of the State wherein the Foster Parent and the animal.
If an animal is harmed due to my negligence, I understand that I will be held responsible for the possible bills of vetting, surgery, and/or meds.
I agree to immediately contact the Foster Coordinator in the event of an emergency. An emergency is defined as an escape, bite to a human or another animal, or medical emergency(example-ingestion of a toxin).
I agree to hold Dog Rescue Newcastle harmless from any direct or consequential damages arising out of this foster care arrangement.
I hereby accept this animal and assume all the risks and responsibilities associated with this animal; including bites, and fully and completely release, indemnify, and hold harmless, DRN, its owners, directors, volunteers, and agents from any claim, cause or action or liability or any sort or nature, whether, known or unknown, directly, or indirectly arising out of or in connection with this animal.
