Service Unit Extraordinary Event Nomination
Instructions:
The Service Unit Event Manager, Service Unit Manager, or volunteer responsible for the event may complete this nomination form. This nomination form will be reviewed upon receipt and you will be contacted if it does not contain all the information needed for review. Deadline for the nomination is February 15th of each year. Please provide pictures of the event if possible.
Criteria:
The Extraordinary Event Award is to recognize excellence in Service Unit programming. The awards look at several event components: Use of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, use of the National Program Portfolio, impact on the community, impact on girls, use of girl evaluation, partnerships with other community groups, businesses, and individuals, and use of teen Girl Scouts in leadership roles.
