Camp Kulam (מחנה כולם) is a multicultural camp that celebrates global Jewish diversity, lifts up the experiences of Jews of Color, and welcomes kindergarten to 3rd graders from a broad spectrum of family backgrounds for a fun-filled week together!
Kulam (כולם) is Hebrew for ‘everyone’ and at Camp Kulam, we are building a community that is truly for everyone and reflects the diversity of the modern Jewish community and Brooklyn Jewish life. All children are welcome, racially and ethnically diverse Jewish families are embraced, and everyone can show up as their full and authentic selves and know that they belong.
Our program offers a unique and fun experience where celebrating Jewish diversity and values enhances everything we do! Through a wide variety of fun activities such as cooking, music and dance, art and nature projects, story time, and more, campers are not only exposed to Jewish cultures and communities worldwide but also have the opportunity to explore their own identities and heritages.
Camp Kulam is offered during NYC Mid-Winter Recess in February 2024 and is open to kindergarten to third graders from any school throughout Brooklyn and NYC.
WHO CAN ATTEND CAMP KULAM?
Children currently in kindergarten through third grade from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, heritages, and identities are welcome at Camp Kulam! Campers can join from any school or neighborhood across Brooklyn and beyond! We are committed to welcoming children from racially and ethnically diverse families to camp in order to intentionally and expressly create a diverse environment and community makeup.
