Overview
The External Employment Referral Program (EERP) is a program designed to encourage individuals outside of McDugald Steele to refer potential new hires to the company. For every referred candidate who is hired and completes 3 months successfully, the individual will receive a minimum of $500. The referral money is taxable and will be paid via an accounts payable check mailed. McDugald Steele has the right to change or terminate the program at any time with or without notice.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the EERP, the external individual must:
1. Be at least 18 years old
2. Be a legal resident of the United States
3. Not be a current employee of McDugald Steele
How to Refer a Candidate
To refer a candidate, the external individual must:
1.Sign up for the EERP program via this EERP online form to receive updates on open positions and the referral fees associated with it.
2.Direct the candidate to apply via our career site (mcdugaldsteele.recruitee.com) and input their name and company info as the source of who referred them.
3. Email careers at mcdugaldsteele dot com at the time of referral to let McDugald Steele HR team know in advance that they are referring a candidate.
The date of the receipt of email and/or online application submission will serve as the timestamp.
Referral Requirements
For a referral to be valid, the following requirements must be met:
1. The candidate must not have a current application with McDugald Steele.
2. The candidate must not have applied to McDugald Steele in the last 6 months at the time of referral.
3. The candidate must be hired and complete 3 months of successful employment with McDugald Steele.
Payment
Referral payments will be made via an accounts payable check within 30 days of the candidate completing 3 months of successful employment with McDugald Steele and mailed to thier address.
Additional Information
1. Referral money is taxable.
2. McDugald Steele has the right to change or terminate the program at any time with or without notice.
Example
Jane Doe is a friend of John Smith, who works at ABC Company. Jane is interested in working at McDugald Steele, so John, since he does not have any open positions that match Jane at ABC refers her instead to McDugald Steele via the EERP. Jane applies online on the McDugald Steele career site and inputs John's name and company info as the source of who referred her. John also emails the McDugald Steele HR team to let them know that he is referring Jane so they can be on the lookout for her application and resume.
Jane's application is reviewed and she is invited to interview. Jane interviews well and is offered a position at McDugald Steele. Jane accepts the offer and starts working.
After Jane completes 3 months of successful employment, John receives a $500 referral payment from McDugald Steele mailed to his address.
