Welcome to the Short+Sweet Sydney 2024 audition form.
This is your first step towards treading the boards in the world biggest Short Play festival. We have over 70+ original works that need actors!
Short+Sweet Sydney is a platfrom for new and established theatre makers to put there best foot forward and express your creativity, boldness, identity and talent.
Our auditions are the best way to meet the directors face to face and network with the theatre makers of tomorrow.
The Process:
Bellow you will pick a time based on your age range.
At the auditions you will be asked to fill out a form detailing your availibitlies for the festival run.
You must perform a 1 minute monolouge, it can be of any genre or style.
The audition process will be run like a showcase, actors are welcome to watch each others auditions. After all the actors in your time slot have auditioned, you are welcome to mingle and network for the next hour.
You are of course welcome to leave straight after your audition if you so wish.
After the auditions are complete, directors will then tick the actors they wish to contact on a list of auditionees.
You will then be contacted by the director annd given a role!
