  • To help promote our 501(c)(3) fundraiser we ask that you share website information with The Ojai Wine Festival via hyperlink (www.OjaiWineFestival.com) on your website and include our event on your event calendar, Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites.   • Wine Judging

  • Wineries pouring at the Ojai Wine Festival can choose to participate in a special free wine judging service. Certified wine sommeliers will evaluate and score wines poured at this year’s festival. The team of sommeliers will complete a grading sheet for each wine, and will issue a score on the 100-point scale on the event day.

     Gold and Silver certificates will be awarded in several categories and mailed to the award winners. Bronze level awards will be listed on our website at your winery's discretion. Award winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram as well as on OjaiWineFestival.com.

    Rules for submission:

    • No more than 2 wines are allowed for submission from each producer
    • You must sign up for for the wine judging before event day
    • The wines submitted must be poured at the event
    • All wine must be bottled and labeled with variety, AVA and vintage date, including sparkling wine. Blends other than GSM and Bordeaux-style blends do not qualify. Non-vinifera wines do not qualify. 
    • All submissions must be received before judging begins at 11am.
    • Each wine entry consists of one sample bottle of wine. We cannot return bottles submitted as tasting samples.
  • Silent Auction Donations

  • Wineries are required to donate a $50 value or higher item. Examples of donations are bottles of wine, tasting certificates, winery tours, products and/or services to our Silent Wine Auction. Please send marketing material for display and your donations to the Attitude Adjustment Shoppe, In care of The Ojai Wine Festival, 1129 Maricopa HWY, #237 Ojai, CA 93023 by May 31st. 

  • Winery Booth Information

  • We provide you with:

    • An 8’ table
    • Tasting Glasses
    • Bags of Ice
    • Jugs of Water
    • Nearby Trash Receptacle
    • Drinking water
    • The winery area is well shaded with large trees, but the sun may peek through at times. We have 15 booth spaces (10'x10') that can accommodate pop-up canopies. Bring your own canopy as they are not provided. The first 15 requests will have a pop-up booth space. Contact Angela May by May 31st to reserve.
  • You will need to bring the following:

    • 3-4 cases of wine
    • Winery Name Signage/Banners/Branding and a way to hang or display them. Do not display them by hanging in a tree.
    • At least 2 staff members to work your booth
    • Chairs (for your personal use)
    • Tablecloths
    • Dump buckets
    • Water pitcher
    • Coolers for your wines
    • Wine openers
    • Décor & marketing material
    • Promotional items to give away
    • Posi-Pour spouts (1-1 ½ ounce)
    • A lunch (unless you choose to buy your lunch at one of the food vendors at the event.)

    If you requested a 10’ by 10’ pop-up canopy booth space, (the first 15 wineries that asked for one) you must bring your pop-up canopy to the event, we do not rovide them. If you can, it’s best to set up your pop-up canopy the day before the event. Please notify Angela May (805) 798-7902 if you plan to do so. She will give you instructions on how to enter the event site during Friday’s set up day.

  • You will need two separate certificates of liability insurance. Our insurance company and Lake Casitas Recreation requires each craft vendor to provide a certificate of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 General Liability and $2,000,000 aggregate naming additionally insured.


    1. Our Rotary Club’s additionally insured certificate needs to say:

    Make sure to submit each additionally insured word for word as it is written out above for each of the two individual certificates. If it is not literally identical to what is listed above, the certificate will have to be resubmitted with the correct additionally insured.
