Parent Effectiveness Training

Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) is a well-established program designed to strengthen the relationships between parents and their children. Through a series of interactive sessions, participants are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to communicate more effectively, solve problems collaboratively, and foster a harmonious family environment. By completing and signing this document, you acknowledge your interest and consent to participate in the Parent Effectiveness Training group sessions. Your decision to join indicates a commitment to enhancing your parenting skills and working towards a more fulfilling relationship with your child(ren).

To receive certification from the Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) program, participants must complete all eight modules in their entirety. This full attendance ensures that participants have been exposed to and have had the opportunity to engage with the complete range of skills and knowledge essential to the PET curriculum. For those who miss one or more group sessions, there is an option to attend individual sessions at an additional cost. This ensures that participants can catch up on missed content and maintain their eligibility for certification. Please be aware that only those who have completed the full curriculum, whether through group sessions or a combination of group and individual sessions, will be granted PET certification. Your willingness to adhere to these requirements shows a dedication to the integrity and thoroughness of the training.
