Virtual Recital Opportunity
Your students are invited to share their talent.

NFMC wishes to encourage performance of American music;
to bring more recognition to American composers;
to stimulate public appreciation and awareness of American music;
and to broaden the knowledge of American music.   

REQUIREMENTS

• Music by American Composer
• Duration: 5 minutes or less
• Memorization not required, but encouraged.
• Open to all instruments and voice.
• Prepare a brief "bio" on the composer: when/where born
• Submit performance digitally via YouTube link.
• Provide PDF of music score for judge's use (upload) ​
• TEACHERS: OMC Membership required
• Deadline 11:59 pm November 1.
  

Young musicians of all ages are encouraged to apply, especially those who may not have much experience but are enthusiastic about sharing their musical abilities.

The video-recording must be a single take (with live accompanist, if needed).  Upload to YouTube channel (teacher or student/parent).  Set sharing option as either “Public” or “Unlisted” - rather than "Private".

The National Federation of Music Clubs observes American Music Month annually in November through the Parade of American Music.  Thank you for your interest in this annual event!

TEACHER INFORMATION:  

The Judges will need a "copy" of the music.  Please upload a PDF.

If entrant is a minor, under age 18, the parent or legal guardian must complete form on behalf of the applicant.
