WBENC Collegiate Accelerator Overview:
The WBENC Collegiate Accelerator is a multifaceted entrepreneurial program focused on the advancement of collegiate female founders. Collegiate female entrepreneurs will participate in a five-day, growth-based accelerator designed to guide emerging business owners through their startup phase.
The Collegiate Accelerator includes a Mentorship Program that will connect student participants with mentors from seasoned women-owned businesses alongside mentors from leading Corporations in a 2:1 mentorship model.

Mentor Eligibility & Requirements:
In order to be eligible to serve, all WBE mentors must be attending the 2024 WBENC National Conference in Denver, Colorado from March 19 - 22.
Mentor Roles & Responsibilities:
WBE mentors will support mentee’s general entrepreneurial journey including answering questions, offering advice, and serving as a resource for mentee(s) throughout the WBENC Collegiate Accelerator Program.
Mentors will actively engage their network to introduce mentee(s) to professional contacts as mentee(s) work to gain valuable brand exposure and partnerships needed to grow their venture.
Mentors will allow mentee(s) to practice their pitch and will give constructive feedback ahead of the CA Pitch Competition at the 2024 WBENC National Conference.
While at the 2024 WBENC National Conference, mentors are encouraged to extend the following invitations to their mentee(s), while using discretion to deem when appropriate and/or applicable
- Invite mentee(s) to shadow mentor and network at mentor’s expo booth
- Invite mentee(s) to sit with them during meal functions and evening receptions
- Invite mentee(s) to attend invite-only events or functions hosted by mentor
- Mentors will adhere to the following CA mentor schedule – please note, all asterisks (*) indicate required attendance.
*Mentors are welcome to include more than one internal team member as part of the Mentorship Program as long as the designated contact person is made clear to the mentee.
*Please note, we encourage mentors to stay in touch with their mentees following the conclusion of the program; however, this is not a requirement.
