  • THE PEYTON PABLO-MANNING NURSE PRE-APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

National Black Contractors Foundation of America
  • NBCF has launched a program to expose 10 to 17-year-olds to the virtues of giving and the rewards of serving. This initiative follows the principles inspired by Peyton Manning-Nurse, which stresses the importance of giving back. This program is designed to provide pre-apprenticeship carpentry training to youth struggling to find their way. The program is named in honor of Peyton Pablo-Manning Nurse, a young man who spent Three summers under the mentorship of NBCF's founder and found it to be a transformative experience. Tragically, at the age of 21, he passed away in a car accident. However, his legacy through this program, seeks to provide opportunities for youth to develop skills and find their purpose.
