2024 Bus Shelter Design Contest Submission (UPTD Bus Stop Applications)

BUS SHELTER DESIGN CONTEST

The Bus Shelter Design Contest provides the surrounding community with the opportunity to see their design displayed on a Umpqua Public Transportation District bus stop shelter!
Through the continuation of a graphic arts program and collaborations with both the Umpqua Public Transportation District and Thrive Umpqua, Umpqua Valley Arts (UVA) is proud to announce another art contest that will highlight the talent of local artists and revitalize Umpqua Public Transportation District (UPTD) bus stop shelters and to feature youth-created artwork. Participating artists will submit new designs for the shelter that are representative of the diverse communities served by Umpqua Valley Arts, Umpqua Thrive, and UPTD. The chosen design will be installed on the panels of prominent bus spots throughout Roseburg.

This contest is open to any person aged 12 to 18 that currently resides in Douglas County, Oregon. Submissions must be received by Friday, May 31st and the chosen artist will be announced during June 2024.

Art Submission Information
Please submit up to 5 different designs that you would like to be considered for the Bus Stop Shelter Contest. Please include an additional file for each design that includes details about how the design would ideally wrap around the bus stop shelter. See example below:

Digital files must be JPEG files with a resolution of 300 dpi and a file size of approximately 5 -10 MB are ideal. Please keep a large working file in case of the design being selected for the competition.
