Throughout our history at Trinity Catholic School, the overwhelming majority of students annually re-enroll for the following school year. We love our students and are proud to see such strong retention numbers year after year. In the past, re-enrollment wasn't simple. We moved from paper forms to online re-enrollment a few years ago, but it was still a time consuming process for our families. Beginning this year, we will now utilize a “Continuous Enrollment” process.
The Continuous Enrollment process allows you the comfort of knowing that your child’s seat is secure and frees you from unnecessary annual paperwork and electronic submissions. From the time of admission, your child will be considered enrolled at Trinity Catholic School through 8th Grade graduation, unless otherwise notified by the parent, a guardian, or the school of a change in this relationship. Trinity Catholic School’s annual enrollment is therefore an opt-out process with a deadline by which to notify the school if your child is not returning. If your educational plans change, then you simply notify the school that you wish to “opt-out” of continuous enrollment for the following year.
Terms of the Continuous Enrollment Agreement:
Communication: You will receive a continuous enrollment email around the end of January each year, reminding you that you are already enrolled at TCS, providing links to the upcoming year’s Schedule of Tuition and Fees, and affordability and financial assistance information. This will include a reminder if you intend to Opt-Out on or before the deadline. No action will be required if your children will be at Trinity the following school year.
Schedule of Tuition and Fees: Each year in January, Trinity will publish a Schedule of Tuition and Fees for the upcoming academic year. You will receive a continuous enrollment email around the end of January each year, reminding you that you are already enrolled at TCS and providing links to the upcoming year’s Schedule of Tuition and Fees, and affordability and financial assistance information. This will include a reminder if you intend to Opt-Out on or before the deadline.
Payments Due: The Responsible Party(ies) agree to pay all tuition and fees. The Re-enrollment Fee for each subsequent academic year shall be billed beginning July of each school year. All tuition and fees (including re-enrollment fees) are invoiced to the Step Up for Students EMA (Education Market Assistant) or FACTS. The re-enrollment fee will be billed quarterly through Step Up for Students EMA, or monthly through FACTS should the scholarship not cover the fees.
** For this transition year, Re-Enrollment Fees, not covered in its entirety from the Step Up for Students scholarships, will be due on or before the Opt-Out deadline.
Opt-Out/Withdrawal: Continuous enrollment is a process that automatically re-enrolls your child at Trinity Catholic School each year until he or she graduates, unless otherwise notified by the parent, a guardian, or the school of a change in this relationship.
Re-Enrollment Fee Refund: Refunds of re-enrollment fees will be given only if Opt-Out forms are received by the deadline in February, prior to the start of Open Enrollment for new families. Your child's enrollment spot will no longer be guaranteed once Opt-Out form is received.
For major life changes/unique circumstances like moving 25+ miles away from our school, or if Trinity can no longer meet your child’s educational needs, if we ask your family to withdraw, or if there is some unforeseen circumstance that our Enrollment Committee approves, the Re-Enrollment Fee will be refunded.
