This award was established in 2012 to recognize Dr. Hickok’s tireless efforts in promoting a high standard of security professionalism within the US defense industry, which ultimately led to the creation and formal accreditation of the ISP® Certification Program. This award recognizes an individual who has provided extraordinary or unique contributions to the NCMS ISP® Certification Program.
The nominee must have maintained their ISP® certification for a minimum of one year and have been an ISP® at the time of their contributions to the program. The nominee must meet a minimum of two of the following criteria in order to be considered for this award. Each selected criterion should reflect a separate and distinct contribution to the ISP® Certification Program.
The descriptive narrative for the criteria chosen should be a maximum of 300 words in length. The selected nominee is recommended by the NCMS Awards Committee and the ISP® Certification Committee to the NCMS Board of Directors for approval.
Note: The NCMS ISP® Certification Committee Chair and members of the NCMS Board of Directors are not eligible for this award.
