Election letters deadline
Letters about the Oct. 28 Orleans special town meeting will be published through the issue of Oct. 17; letters about the Nov. 5 state election will be published through the issue of Oct. 24; letters about the Nov. 18 Brewster special town meeting will be published through the issue of Nov. 14.
Letters to the Editor Policy
Letters to the editor should be signed and include an address and telephone number for verification. Letters may be edited for spelling, grammar and length and should be limited to 250 words or less, though longer letters will be allowed at the editor’s discretion. Writers are limited to one letter per month. Letters about public issues will be priority over letters of thanks. We reserve the right to reject any letter. Candidate, election and town meeting endorsements are not accepted for publication in the issue before the event. Deadline for letters is Monday at noon.
