Overview
Black Girl Art Show and Black Boy Art Show are national exhibition tours that celebrate black artists. The role of a production manager includes event setup, overseeing event production items, volunteer training and reporting to the exhibition manager for both Black Girl Art Show & Black Boy Art Show.
Responsibilities
- Oversee event items
- Install event banners and other branded items
- Assist day-of volunteers
- Event Breakdown & load out.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Male Candidate
- Local Resident within the event city.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Available on weekends and willingness to travel
- A minimum of 2 years experience in event production.
- Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Likable and able to motivate others
- Highly charismatic and engaging.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
Physical Demands: Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including, but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, climbing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting, up to 50 lbs. Repetitive hand and wrist motion may be required.
