Physically-challenged handlers and dogs are encouraged to compete in RallyO. Modifications of the course for both handler and dog are permitted at the Judge's discretion.

It is also the Judge's discretion whether or not a dog will be allowed to compete. If the handler has any concerns regarding the Judge's decision or wishes to challenge it, the handler should be prepared to present a letter from a veterinarian stating that the dog is fit to compete. The Judge will consider this in their final decision. As all injuries are not always obvious or consistent, the Judge shall have the final discretion on the day of the trial.

Veteran dogs (dogs over 7 years of age) may also have modifications made to the course because of their age without requiring a letter from a veterinarian.

CARO Event Participation Waiver & Release
I CERTIFY that I am the actual owner of the dog, or immediate family member (as defined in the Canadian Association of Rally Obedience (CARO) Eligibility Rules), of the dog entered herein. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) have read, understand and will abide by the Official Rules & Regulations of CARO in effect at the time of this entry, and by any additional rules and regulations appearing in the Rally-Obedience Trial Schedule for this event. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. This entry is submitted for acceptance on the foregoing representation and General Agreement/Disclaimer. I (we) agree to conduct myself (ourselves) in accordance with such Official Rules and Regulations (including all provisions applying to discipline) and to abide by any decisions made in accordance with them. I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event carries certain risks, including, but not limited to injuries (including serious injuries and death) to myself, the Dog, another dog under my control or persons attending as my guests (my “Related Parties”), damage to property and other losses. I waive any and all claims that I have or may have in the future against, and release from all liability and agree not to sue the Organizing Club or any of the directors, executives, committees, representatives, employees, volunteers or agents of the Organizing Club (the “Personnel”) for any injury, death, property damage or other loss that I or my Related Parties sustain due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, breach of duty, statutory or otherwise, or mistakes or errors of judgment of any kind. I assume full responsibility for the conduct of myself and my Related Parties during the entirety of the Event. I agree to indemnify and save harmless the Organizing Club and the Personnel from and against any and all claims that may be made against them or costs, fees, expenses or liability (including, without limitation, lawyers’ fees on a solicitor and own client basis) incurred by the Organizing Club or the Personnel that may arise due to: any act or omission of myself, my Related Parties or any party for whom I am liable at law; or aggressive behaviour by the Dog or any other dog under my control. I have been given the opportunity to read and understand the terms of this Agreement before signing it, and have in fact done so. I understand that by signing this Agreement, I am restricting my legal rights and I sign this Agreement voluntarily and of my own free will.
Paws4Fun Agility Club Standard Waiver & Release
We agree that Paws4Fun Agility has the right to refuse this application for cause which the organization deems to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this application, we agree to hold Paws4Fun Agility, including its officers, directors and the premise land owner, harmless from any and all claims for injury, death, property damage or any other loss which may be alleged to have been caused by the act of our dog(s) while in or upon any club premises or adjacent grounds, and we personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim. We further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of our dog(s) by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury, be it caused or alleged to be caused by negligence of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. We hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify the same aforementioned parties from any and all loss and expenses (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including ourselves or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of our participation in any club event, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused or may have been alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other person.
