Reservation Process
To reserve your storage spot, please complete the following steps:
Read the Information: Familiarize yourself with our storage options.
Fill Out the Form: Submit the required reservation form.
Pay the Non-Refundable Deposit: A $100 deposit is required to secure your reservation; it will be deducted from your total service cost.
Invoice and Contract: As your move-out day approaches, we will email you an invoice for the pickup fee and any other extras via our moving company’s CRM system. A storage contract will then be established, billed at $50 per month for four months ($200 total).
Roommate Discount:
Roommates who book together will receive a $50 discount per student. Contact us at info@movedinmoving.com to request your discount code.
Storage Fees
Summer Storage Fee: $200 total, billed at $50 per month (May-August).
Storage Capacity: Up to 9 items.
Exclusions: TVs or monitors not packed in boxes, liquids, food, or items packed in duffle bags or IKEA bags.
Pickup/Dropoff Options
Important Note: Self drop-off and pickup will not be offered this year.
Colgate/Hamilton Pickups: (IN ROOM PICKUP ONLY)
*Must be present at time of pick up and drop off due to schools residence life policy, or must have a contact person to let us into dorm and room*
Colgate University: May 8 - Pickup starts at Noon (Drop-off on August 25).
Hamilton University: May 18 - Pickup starts at Noon (Drop-off on August 25).
Deposit Policy: If you pay your deposit and cannot be picked up or dropped off on the specified dates, your deposit will be non-refundable.
Curbside Pickup/Dropoff (Clarkson and SLU Only):
Cost: $225 + $200 Storage Fee.
Packing Supplies: Provided Drop off date TBA
Pickup on: May 5 starting at 9 AM (SLU May 8).
Personal Appointment:An additional $50 charge (If May 5th does not work)
Item Limit: 9 total items in boxes or bins.
Rescheduling Policy: If you need a pickup on a different day, please email us 10 days in advance. A $50 fee applies.
In-Room Pickup:
*For Clarkson and SLU Students, This will be completed after you depart for the summer and drop off will occur before you arrive back to campus*
*For Other students this will be completed on the dates stated above. You must be present for pick up at all schools other than SLU/Clarkson. If a pick up date is not stated for your school please use the last day of finals as your pick up day*
*For instance belongings were picked up the day after graduation last year from rooms and dropped off the week prior of move in day. So all belongings will be in your new dorm location for the fall when you arrive back to school*
Cost: $350 + $200 Storage Fee.
Packing Supplies: Included; all items must be packed in boxes or bins.
Deadline: This service will occur after you vacate your room, coordinating with the respective university's res life offices.
Important Information
Storage Period: May through August.
Extended Storage: Available at $50/month.
Pickup Includes: Typically 7 boxes/items and 2 extra items (e.g., fridge, 3-drawer storage). Additional fees apply for exceeding item limits or selecting add-on services.
