By clicking the submit button, I understand Jax Creek Appenzellers, LLC will check my references including veterinary and personal.
I understand there is a $1,000 deposit required to reserve a puppy and that a puppy is not reserved until the deposit is received.
I understand that the remainder of the purchase price must be provided before the puppy is picked up.
I agree to attend two training courses with my puppy, each course having multiple classes.
If I plan to breed a show quality puppy, I agree to (1) Register the puppy with AMDCA and/or AKC, (2) obtain OFA normal patella, hip and elbow xrays prior to breeding, (3) not breed before 2 years of age, and (4) sign a contract with JCA for co-ownership until these requirements are accomplished or request changing the contract to pet/companion.
I understand that if I no longer want or can no longer care for my adopted pet, I am required to notify Jax Creek Appenzellers, LLC and that I am not authorized to place the puppy in a rescue center or transfer to the puppy to another owner. Jax Creek will work with you to find the best resolution to the situation and/or to approve a new home or retrieve the puppy. At no point can a Jax Creek Appenzeller be given to a shelter or pound.
I understand I will be required to sign the Jax Creek Appenzeller, LLC, contract at or before puppy pick-up.
I understand Jax Creek Appenzellers, LLC, does not use a first-come, first-served process for new owners to select puppies. The puppies will undergo the Volhard's Puppy Aptitude Test on/around 49 days of age so that the puppies can be best matched to new families. Earlier applications will get preference for the puppies considering temperment-test results, sex and other applicant-desired traits.
