Alpaca Adoption Application
Thank you for your interest in opening your home to rescued alpacas. Please note that alpacas are herd animals and need to be adopted in pairs or more. We adopt out animals as members of the family and expect that their medical needs will be met by a veterinary professional immediately, should they arise. All alpacas are vaccinated, drenched, microchipped, lice treated, shorn (if applicable) and hoof trimmed and males are castrated before they are adopted. Adoption fees for alpacas are $350. This fee helps cover their time in care, medical bills and feed.

We do not adopt alpacas out to be herd guards and male (including castrated males) and females must never be paddocked together. We also urge adopters to be cautious if paddocking with sheep due to parasite crossovers and generally advise against this unless your animal husbandry is thorough. We transport animals to their new homes statewide which uses up our valuable time and money. Please state if you would be willing to contribute to fuel costs.
