  • At the STEM Experience Center, we know that STEM can be a challenging pillar to pursue for our Girl Scouts. So that’s why we strive to provide accessible resources for our troop leaders to help their girls pursue different topics in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math with our innovative Badge Lab concept.

Badge Lab sessions will have all the materials, tools, equipment, and supplies provided for the STEM badge/patch of your choice in a provided space at our STEM Experience Center. We will even provide a host to welcome you into the space that they have set up for you and to coach you through the activity!

We hope the Badge Lab will be a great bonding time for your entire troop and a memorable experience learning about STEM. Get the fun started by booking one today!

  • How to book a Badge Lab
    1. Identify a few date(s) on your calendar for your troop to meet. Ideally you need your first choice of when you’d like to reserve a Badge Lab, but also a backup just in case the first one isn’t available.

    2. Choose which badge(s) you’d like for your troop to earn! Each Badge Lab session is designated for one badge, but if you have a multi-level troop then we can accommodate multiple ages for the same badge. (Example: Brownie Coding Basics and Junior Coding Basics). Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate different ages and different badges (i.e. Brownie Art & Design and Junior Coding Basics) within the same reservation. However, if you’d like to do that, feel free to submit multiple requests!

    3. Complete this form or contact Customer Care directly to schedule your Badge Lab by calling 317-924-6800 or emailing customercare@girlscoutsindiana.org

    Costs for a Badge Lab
All fees cover the costs of supplies, staffing and the associated badge/patch for your Badge Lab. Please register all adults that plan to attend.
$8 per girl per Badge Lab
$2 per adult per Badge Lab

There is a minimum of 12 girls and enough adults to meet safety activity checkpoints.
