Credit Card Security Hold

As you do not hold a Valid New Zealand Passport or hold New Zealand Residency or a Permanent Resident Visa, We do requre a security hold of $800 at time of collecting your first rented order, a pre-authorisation is made on your credit/debit card of up to $800.00 NZD. A pre-authorisation holds an amount of money in your bank account and this money is ‘on hold’ until equipment has been returned. An electronic message to your bank will be sent on the day you return the equipment requesting the release of any holding amounts. The time it takes for this to be reflected on your statement may vary depending on your bank.
