Terms and Conditions – Singers & Vocal Group
Tuition: Tuition is due on the first day of each month from September through June.
Payments: Tuition is due on the 5th of each month. Payments may be made via check, cash, cashier’s check, money order, or PayPal. A $25 service charge applies to any returned checks, and if more than one check is returned within a year, check payments will no longer be accepted.
Attendance Policy: Consistent attendance is crucial for progress and success. Failure to meet attendance requirements may lead to dismissal from the program or reassignment to a different level.
Guardians are responsible for notifying the instructor of absences directly.
Payment is required for all enrolled classes, even if absent. Any changes in attendance require verbal confirmation with the instructor at least two weeks prior to the beginning of the month.
Closures: The Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni will be closed on official holidays, major religious holidays, and in cases of inclement weather. Notifications of closures will be provided by the instructor. Make-up classes will not be provided for weather-related cancellations, and refunds will not be issued for these closures.
Participation: Singers are expected to participate in ALL performances throughout the year, including but not limited to community events, concerts, competitions, and end-of-year recitals. Performance dates will be announced in advance, and students must prioritize these events in their schedules.
Code of Conduct: Proper and respectful behavior is expected in all classes and rehearsals.
No side conversations or cell phone usage during rehearsals.
Instructors reserve the right to dismiss students from class due to misconduct, and refunds will not be issued in such cases.
Studio Rules for Singers:
No running, yelling, or disruptive behavior in rehearsal spaces.
Keep rehearsal rooms clean and dispose of trash properly.
Gossip, obscene language, and inappropriate conversations will not be tolerated.
No gum, food, or drink (except water) is allowed in the studio.
Waiver and Release of Liability: I hereby expressly waive and discharge all claims and agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni from any injuries incurred during classes, rehearsals, or performances. I acknowledge that registration, tuition, and all applicable fees must be paid in full and that I am responsible for all payments until written notice of withdrawal is received, as stated in the policies of Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni.
Should I dispute a charge through my financial institution, this will constitute a breach of contract, which may result in penalties, additional fees, collection action, legal action, and/or termination of services.
Media and Liability Waiver & Medical Attention Authorization: I acknowledge that due to the nature of vocal training and group performances, neither Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni nor any of its officers, students, faculty, staff, or independent contractors will be held accountable for any injuries occurring within the facility or any venue used for rehearsals or performances. I further waive and release Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni, its officers, faculty, staff, and independent contractors from any claims arising from such injuries or any actions taken in seeking medical attention as outlined below.
In case of illness or injury, I authorize necessary medical care, as deemed appropriate by Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni, its officers, faculty, staff, or independent contractors. I also grant authorization for any emergency room facility to administer necessary treatment. I understand that I am responsible for any expenses related to emergency treatment and that Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni and its representatives are to be indemnified and held harmless for such expenses.
Media Release: By participating in Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni, I authorize the videotaping, photography, and recording of myself/my child for educational, promotional, and other purposes deemed appropriate by the organization. I also grant permission for Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni to use such media in printed and digital materials without further consent. All recorded materials shall remain the sole property of Georgian Cultural Center Iverioni.
