Each quarter, SilverChef provides four grants globally, each worth $5,000, to community groups that use foodservice and hospitality to uplift the community. To be eligible, applicants should receive limited funding from other sources, have a clear and specific need for commercial kitchen equipment, and have been a registered charity or NFP for a minimum of 12 months. If you have previously received a grant from SilverChef, you can reapply after 12 months.
Grants comprise $3,750 credit to be spent on SilverChef’s Certified Used equipment range; with a balance of up to $1,250 that can be paid in cash, or allocated towards more equipment and/or freight costs.
Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants. If your application is successful, you will be contacted within one month of the closing date of the current round. If we do not hear back from you within 30 days of sending that email, your grant will be reallocated to the next organisation on the shortlist. Grants must be fully redeemed within six months of notification that your organisation has been successful.
Participation in SilverChef’s Community Program is at the sole and absolute discretion of SilverChef. Irrespective of whether an applicant meets the eligibility criteria, SilverChef will not be under any obligation to offer a Community Grant to any applicant.
If you have any questions, please email grants@silverchef.com.au.
