2026 Baseball Manager/Coach Agreement

• The team manager and coaches are first and foremost leaders. The team manager and team coaches must display good character, sportsmanship and high moral standards.
• The Manager and team coaches should provide the opportunity for as many players as possible to participatein the game.
• The Manager and team coaches should instill in their team a sense of responsibility for the equipment, the care of the grounds, the backstops, and the prevention of vandalism.
• Each Manager and team coaches should continually strive to promote a friendly relationship with other managers, coaches and players. The team manager and team coaches must be well informed regarding Knothole rules and procedures.
• Manager’s shall instruct coaches, players, and fans that the umpires are in complete charge of the ball game. The umpires are to be given full respect before, during and after the game.
• The Manager/coach should endeavor to raise the standards of all coaches and players on his/her team to the highest level of sportsmanship, team play, and in fair play.
• As a manager/coach, I will uphold the Knothole Baseball Code of Ethics. I have read and will follow the Knothole Baseball rules. I understand that any failure to abide by the Knothole Baseball Rules or the Knothole Code of Ethics could result in sanctions from Knothole Baseball including but not limited to my removal as manager/coach. 
• I have completed the required Concussion, Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Lindsey's Law) and Senate Bill 534 and provided the proper proof of completion to one of the following individuals, my Program Director, Coordinator or District Executive Supervisor.
