2024 COC Summer Leadership Application
  • 2024 Summer Leadership Application

  • This application is for those who have been invited by a Campus Outreach staff member to serve in a leadership capacity on a joint CO Charlotte-CO Charleston summer project in 2024. It is designed to help our staff best position you and others for spiritual health and growth, as well as assist you in your discernment of how God might have you invest your time this summer. If you have any questions, please contact your campus staff person or email charlotte@campusoutreach.org (for CO Charlotte students) or charleston@campusoutreach.org (for CO Charleston students). Thank you!

  • Part I: Basic Information

  • Part II: Spiritual Growth & Personal Ministry

  • The following section is an opportunity to share about your spiritual growth and vision for personal ministry. While it can be tempting to view these questions as a spiritual test to be passed, in truth they are intended to help you share how God is at work in your life. We know that "a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ" (Galatians 2:16) and that faith is "the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2:9). Please feel the freedom to be honest in your self-assessment knowing this is not a spiritual grading assignment.

  • Rows
  • In the fields below, please provide the name and contact information of someone close to you who can speak knowledgeably about your character and faith. Ideally, this would be someone who has mentored or discipled you in some capacity (i.e. church member/staff, CO staff person, etc.)

  • Part III: Personal Information

  • Given the scope of leadership responsibility and the highly relational nature of the Campus Outreach summer projects, some personal information is important for discerning whether this is the best context for one's spiritual growth and investment in others. Please know that we take seriously the sensitive nature of this information and that it will only be viewed as necessary by members of the COC Leadership Team. Know also that the answers you provide will not automatically disqualify you from serving as a leader this summer. Questions of this nature help us serve one another proactively and prepare well for potential challenges.

  • Part IV: Additional Information
