International Crane Foundation Girl Scout Day Sign Up - March 2nd Session
Join us for an exciting Girl Scout adventure in Rockport, Texas! Discover the incredible world of Whooping Cranes, one of the rarest and most majestic birds on Earth with the International Crane Foundation and Goose Island State Park.

📆 Mar 2nd - Seine Netting or Fishing (Weather Dependent) 🐟 Dive into the rich biodiversity of bays and estuaries. Participate in seine netting to sample the seagrasses and discover the health of our local ecosystem. Remember to wear the right gear and be ready for an exciting adventure! We will also revisit the Migration Game or Crane Behavior activities from previous sessions.

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location: Goose Island State Park/Big Tree - 202 S Palmetto St, Rockport, TX 78382, 1622 12th St, Rockport, TX 78382

Meet at Goose Island State Park and then shuttle over to Big Tree after activities to observe cranes (dependent on their daily movements, but will hopefully be there)

Cost: (possible State Park entrance fees - $5 for 12+ years of age, possibility of being waived, confirmation will be sent via email)

Registration Deadline: One week before event or until registration is full

Levels: Brownie, Junior Cadette
