    This form is used to request use of the lawn area located outside Oar Café at the Rowing SA West Lakes facility.

    The lawn area is owned and managed by Rowing SA and is available for use by affiliated clubs, schools and approved users when available. As the area is also utilised by Oar Café for functions and events, all use must be approved prior to access being granted.

  • If alcohol will be present, an extended liquor licence is required.

    Rowing SA will need to apply for this as we hold the licence and any applicable fees and compliance for the licence will be passed on to the hirer.  A responsible person will be required to be present for the event.

    The applicant acknowledges that:

    • Submission of this form is a request only and does not guarantee approval.
    • The booking is not confirmed until written confirmation or a calendar invitation is received from Rowing SA.
    • Rowing SA may decline, amend or cancel a booking where operational, safety or venue requirements necessitate.
    • The lawn area may be unavailable due to Oar Café functions, weddings, regattas or Rowing SA activities.
      Users must not obstruct emergency access, public pathways, café operations or neighbouring activities.
    • Any equipment, trailers or vehicles brought onto the site remain the responsibility of the booking organisation.
    • The area must be left clean, tidy and free from damage.
    • Any incidents, hazards or damage must be reported to Rowing SA immediately.
    • Additional approvals may be required for alcohol service, commercial activities, public events or temporary structures.
