The first priority application deadline to participate in conferences is November 25, 2025.
Applications will continue to be reviewed through February 15, 2026.

NAEA (National Art Education Association): March 5-7, Chicago, IL
Current Art Education Students (including Majors, Minors, and Licensure Students) in the Department of Art are invited to apply to participate in the annual Art Education Conference.
In order to participate, students must be:
- Art Education (BA, Minor, or Licensure) students in the BYU Department of Art.
- Available for the duration of the trip. Absence in other classes (including non-art courses) is excused, but no alternative travel arrangements may be made.
- Comfortable sharing a hotel room with another student or students. No alternative accommodation arrangements may be made.
Applicants should also be aware of the following financial commitments:
- Transportation and lodging are booked and managed through Art Education scholarship funds. Students who participate will be asked to submit a report on their experience via the university's Experiential Learning Reporting System.
- All other expenses associated with this trip are up to individual students to cover; this includes some conference fees, dining and incidentals.
- UAEA : $35 conference fee (paid by dept), lunch provided by conference
- NAEA: $150 conference fee ($75 paid by dept), meals not provided by conference
