  • About the 2024 Competition

    Thank you for volunteering for the 2024 Idaho High School Mock Trial Competition. Judges are welcome to sign up for as many competition days as they are available. HOWEVER, please know that you are COMMITTING to judge for all the competition days you sign up for. 

    Sign Up Instructions

    You will receive a confirmation email after you click the Submit button at the end of the registration form. If you need to make changes after you click the Submit button, follow the link in the confirmation email.

    Competition Dates & Times

    Regional Competitions run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. State Competitions run from 4:00 to 10:00 PM. Lunch or dinner is provided for judges.

    Competiton dates are as follows:

    • Eastern Idaho Regional: Saturday, February 10
    • North Idaho Regional: Saturday, February 24
    • Treasure Valley Regional: Saturday, March 2, Boise
    • State Competition: Wednesday and Thursday, March 13 and 14, Boise

  • What is your judging preference?

    Sitting/retired judges and more experienced mock trial judges will be given priority for presiding judge slots. Presiding judges typically sit behind the bench and run the courtroom, but may be asked to score depending on the size of the judging panel.

  • Regional Competitions

  • Regional competitions are full! But please consider signing up to judge for the State competition.

  • Regional competitions are held on Saturdays from 8:00 to 5:00. Lunch will be provided for judges. 

  • The quarterfinal rounds of the Idaho State Mock Trial Competition will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 13 and 14 from 4:00 to 10:00 at the Ada County Courthouse. Dinner will be provided for judges.

    Please note that if you sign up to judge on both days of state, you are committing to judge for both days.
