    Program Status Update: Temporarily Paused
Please note that the Friendly Visitor Program is currently on hold until further notice. This decision allows us to focus our immediate volunteer resources on the most urgent, essential needs of our senior neighbors.

    Immediate Impact Opportunities

While the Friendly Visitor program is paused, you can still make a critical difference in a high-priority role:

    • Meals on Wheels Delivery: Deliver nutritious meals and perform vital safety checks for homebound seniors.
    • Senior Center Assistance: Support daily operations and our popular Senior Center Lunch Programs.

If you are interested in transitioning your application to one of these urgent programs, please complete our general volunteer application here: https://form.jotform.com/agewellvolunteer/volunteer-application

  • Background Check Requirement

In the safe keeping of our seniors and community, a background check is mandatory to be an Age Well Volunteer. You may have completed this in the past but due to the Chore program, we may need you to complete this again. Please complete as soon as possible so we can proceed with your application.

You will be receiving a separate email from Sterling Volunteers (TheAdvocates@sterlingvolunteers.com) on behalf of Age Well Senior Services to complete the background check online. Please check your SPAM/Junk Folder in case you miss the email.

Age Well is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization. The $19.00 cost of the background check is covered by Age Well. If you would like to offset any portion of this cost, we greatly appreciate your support. A contribution is not required to be a volunteer. This may be tax deductible, please check with your tax advisor.

If you no longer wish to volunteer, please reply to reach out to volunteer@myagewell.org to be removed from this list.

    Thank you.
