Drone/Wind/Weather Advisory
Thanks for choosing Mix N Morph Media LLC for property shoots! We use drones and other equipment to capture stunning footage of your properties. However, the safe operation of drones is heavily dependent on both weather and wind conditions.
Please be advised that adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, or heavy winds can affect the safety of our equipment and personnel, as well as the quality of our video and photo work. We have a wind speed limit beyond which we cannot operate drones. If wind speeds exceed our limit of 15 MPH or if gusts are unpredictable, we reserve the right to reschedule your shoot. We will work with you to find a new date and time that is mutually convenient.
We understand that rescheduling a shoot can be inconvenient, but want to ensure that you receive the best possible results. Thank you for your understanding.
Additional Disclaimers:
Turnaround time: It is our utmost priority to deliver the products back to you as fast as possible. However, with other clients and shoots, editing time is sometimes challenging. That is why we have a turnaround time of up to 72 business hours after the shoot. If you need expedited delivery, please let us know ahead of time so that we may try to work with you on turnaround time. We are aware that there are turnaround rules with the Board of Realtors when listing property, so please try and give as much advance notice.
Clients at Shoots: To ensure an efficient and productive shoot, we kindly suggest that clients do not need to be present during the photo or video session. Although we understand that property owners may have a strong attachment to their space, the presence of clients during the shoot can often lead to distractions, unnecessary interruptions, or an attempt to control the creative process. However, we acknowledge that certain circumstances may require the client's presence or an agent-client collaboration. If possible, we recommend that clients avoid being present during the shoot. This will also help the agent to concentrate on their role during the shoot while allowing the photographer or videographer to work more effectively.
Pets and Shoots - please tell all clients that pets (regardless of friendliness) should be put up. We have noticed that some animals respond negatively to some of our equipment, like drones for example and do not want to have any liability with pets and/or the owners.
Staging - Get the property ready with a few of these easy staging tips. Just tidy up the counters, make those beds with care, and place the curtains to catch the best sunlight – you'll see a remarkable difference in the awesome photos and videos we create!
Our videographers/photographers are not legally able to instruct you on what to say during your shoot, but can help you with where to stand or what angles look the best. Due to this, here are some video walk-through talking points that an agent can consider when doing a video walkthrough:
- Keep close to two minutes or under
- Intro: Do a unique intro with your name, team name (if applicable), brokerage name, and opening information about the property (like address and subdivision).
- Start with the exterior: Walk around the property and highlight its curb appeal, landscaping, and any other outdoor features.
- Showcase the interior: Start with the entryway and move through the house, pointing out the key features of each room, such as the flooring, fixtures, and appliances.
- Highlight the property's unique selling points: If the property has any standout features, such as a fireplace, a pool, or a view, make sure to focus on those in the video.
- Offer some perspective: Give the viewers a sense of the layout and flow of the property, emphasizing how each room connects to the others.
- Include some lifestyle shots: Show the viewers how the property can be used, such as a cozy reading nook or a spacious kitchen for entertaining.
- Show off any outdoor spaces: If the property has a backyard, patio, or balcony, make sure to include those in the video as well.
- Finish with a call to action: Encourage viewers to contact the agent for more information or to schedule a showing.
As for the exits for the video walkthrough, here are three options:
-
Unbranded exit: This would be a version of the video that does not include any branding or contact information. It can be used for listing sites like Matrix, Zillow, or for potential buyers who may have found the video through a third-party site.
-
Branded to the team with team phone number (if applicable): This version of the video would include branding for the team as well as a phone number for potential buyers to contact the team directly.
-
Branded to the agent with agent phone number: This version of the video would include branding for the specific agent handling the property and their phone number for potential buyers to contact them directly
